Old Fart

Eric belongs to the ever exclusive Old fart's tennis association. Trouble is that this year has been so crazy that he hasn't played a single game with the old farts. They still invited us to the yearly banquet. We didn't want to miss out on the opportunity to see old guys get dressed in tuxes and drink too much wine, and make fun of each other. They award ridiculus gifts to each member. For these reasons we look forward to it every year. Here are some pictures.
Eric and the "old fart" Phil who got Eric involved in the club.
Eric in the hot seat by the judge
Eric thought it only fitting to read out a poem to honor the association.

A Place For Me

I stay up late to keep the books

For IRS, FDA, and government crooks

There’s not much time to do the nasty

And when there is, it’s often hasty

I wake up early, think and stare

About the old farts playing without a care

They’ve done their time and paid their dues

Their days are filled with tennis and booze

My thoughts recall the good ole’ days

Of tennis fun by old farts ways

Would Dick’s big mouth still make Gary mad?

Would Phil’s bad line calls make the other team sad?

Does anyone recall the score?

How do they play with their backs so sore?

Such carefree days and now alas,

The seasons come and go so fast

A year gone by without a game

But with OFTA creed they hold no blame

For once an old fart you will see
Eric's gift to an old fart who has hip problems. This invention should help him get around the court faster.
After the OFTA banquet we drove down south for a few days. We always have the best time there and we never want to leave.
Maddie was happy to see us, she remembered us from the weekend before.
Kami girl playing outside.
We have the best time together.
We went to the beach, and I surfed. Well actually I got eaten alive.
Beauty
Eric was happy he surfed 2 days in a row.
Maddie showing off her skills.
Girls night out.
So you think you can dance tour.
We met Mary Murphey. She's prettier in real life and less annoying (but that's probably cause she didn't open her mouth).
We had such a great night together.
We had so much fun last week. I LOVE my in-laws. Can't wait to go back next week.

Sweet Blessings

Our son was blessed this past Sunday. It was a beautiful day. My heart was full of gratitude and love. Sunday was a day I'll always remember.

Thanks again to everyone for being there. We were so happy to share this special day with you. To our family that couldn't be there, we really missed you and look forward to seeing you soon.

Life is so good.

Cindy was one sexy witch
Eric and Jessica did face painting at the party.
There was a big line of kids waiting to get their faces painted.
Some end results were scary.

She had a witches cauldron cake
And some really cute treats.
Thanks Jess and family for all your hard work.

Opening presents.
Cute little man
After the party, we played on the trampoline.
After a really busy day we went trick or treating.
Love this face.

Kamryn loved her special day.

Best part of Halloween... SUGAR. Maddie is hooked.
Dylan was a pea pod this year.
Kamryn is so lucky to have so many people love her. Thanks to family for coming up last weekend. We love you.

Crazy week

Last week was so busy with family in town. Kamryn had so much fun with her cousins.

Good thing she has a big girl bed or how could she have a sleep-over? Yes it was a problem getting all 3 of them to fall asleep.
Kami wanted to take her cousins to the pumpkin patch.
Running through the corn maze.
How we didn't loose them is still a mystery.
Monkey-ing aroune
Love this picture.
Playing in the tree house
I took Katie and Kamryn to Disney's Princess on Ice
The girls went dressed up as their favorite princess
We went out to eat with Snow White.
Cinderella
Aladdin
Sleeping beauty.
The girls loved the concert. It was probably 2 hours long and they sat still mesmerized by it all. Of all the princesses we saw Kamryn liked it best when Maleficent came out.
The crazy stayed around through the weekend. Stay tuned.

San Francisco

Last week Eric had meetings in San Francisco, so we drove down one day to play in the bay area. The weather was perfect, we had a lot of fun.

We found this awesome park near the hotel. Kamryn loved the sandbox.
Getting water from the hippo was fun too.
Chimes are great.
Quick geography lesson. Showing off her roots.
We took her to a dinner and the waiter sang Happy Birthday.
She really liked the comfy hotel bed.
Dylan slept in his stroller.
We had fun visiting daddy. I dropped the kids off with ouma and spent two nights alone with Eric.
Eric and I danced after the banquet.
and we went to see WICKED. It was amazing, and it didn't hurt that we had the best seats in the house:).
On the way home we went to our favorite restaurant in Oakland. This place is really special to us because after the proposal on the sailboat, we celebrated here with my family.
We had so much fun. I love the bay area.

p.s thanks E for spoiling me
and Mom you're the BEST.

Newbie pictures.

We had some pictures taken of Dylan before we cut his hair. These pictures were taken when he was 3 weeks. It's so crazy how he is changing.
