4 years

Four years ago I changed my name from Long to Lindsey. I married a man I was so in love with. I married someone who had become my favorite person in the world during our courtship. Someone who probably didn't know that sharing a bed with me would mean one too many accidental kicks in the groin. Someone I didn't know liked to eat a bowl of cereal every night before going to bed. Although I didn't know that he sings really loud in the shower and is way too happy in the mornings, I did know that he was the most fun, kind loving, talented person I had ever known. I did know that loving him was all I wanted to do. I knew even then the kind of husband he would be and the father he would become. I knew then, as I know now, that I am one lucky girl. My favorite moments with Eric have almost always been in bed, the sweet kisses in the morning and the tired conversations at night. My day is incomplete without these two essentials. Four years ago I did so much more than change my name. I made the BEST decision of my life.  

Eric you rock my world. I love you more now than ever before. 

Happy Belated anniversary babe. We'll have to celebrate a different time.

If our son turns out to be half the man you are, I would be so happy.
