Sun, Sand and Fireworks

Kamryn and I spent last week in Yorba Linda, Eric flew down on Thursday night to join us.  Grammy took us to Newport beach, where Kami danced in the sand, built sand castles and collected sea shells.

 She loves dancing
Saying Cheeeese
My girl loves the beach
While grammy was laying out, Kamryn picked a spot right next to her.
Maddison is going to be a regular beach-goer.
Adrie and Maddie laying out
We took my new Vibe inline buggy on many walks. Adrie did all the pushing while I could barely keep up:). 30 weeks
When Eric came we had a BBQ at the Harns' house. Kamryn loved the pool.
Maddie and her uncle Eric in the jacuzzi
Prego girls.
Papa and Kami splashed around too.
To kick off July 4th festivities, we baked a flag cake. It was a BIG hit.
Kamryn eating a red, white and blue doughnut for breakfast July 4th.
We spent the day swimming with our friends.
Kami and Bryton would jump from the jacuzzi into the pool and back again.
Playing badminton
Then we headed over to the park for the fireworks, live band and lots of junk food.
Some girls were doing the macadrena dance on the dance floor and our little one watched them for a while and decided to join in. It was the funniest thing, Nan and I were in tears laughing so hard. We have a video of her putting her hands on her bum, I'll post it later.
What beauties.
Matching shirts.
Kamryn snuggling with me right before the sky lit up.
I loved watching the fireworks with my family. I had Kamryn on my lap, Eric's arm around me and Dylan moving around in my belly. I LOVE the 4th, and this beautiful country that we live in. Aren't I so lucky to be able to visit my in-laws without my hubby and have the time of my life. Hope everyone had a fun filled 4th, we sure did.

Love that precious child of yours. It made my day to see her at the beach, especially the way she said, "Hi my ouma" when she arrived and "Bye, my ouma" when you left. She picks me in the crowds, that makes me feel appreciated. Love you.

Dude...although your July 4th cake was a hit I still think it should have said "God, guts, and guns made America free", that would be far more PATRIOTIC! Oh, and your shirts sooooo didn't match, plus it was July 4th, every women matches on July 4th...come on now!
