Dear summer sun,
please don't pass us by too quickly and ignore my cursing you when the weather is over 100. I actually love it and am going to miss days spent out by the pool.

This has been the most incredible summer, and it's about to get even better with a trip to Lake Powell with family and a couples retreat to Australia.

I am sooooooooo sick and tired of getting cold that I cannot wait for summer and HATE seeing you in the swimming pool - heehee. Enjoy it while it lasts because one of these days its runny noses and jackets for you :-)
Little Kami is such a fish! We just love her for showing off her skillz in the pool......which, in turn, inspired 3 little girls to become more independent swimmers!

Summer is the best!! Even when it is 100 degrees outside. Salt Lake has been pretty hot lately too but it's just a good excuse to get into the pool right!? I miss you guys already! Sounds like you have a fun end-of-summer ahead of you. So jealous! LOVE YOU!
Dude...lil' Kami on that diving board is all too cute. What a little poser...reminds me of someone I knew whilst growing up...wander who that might be? That lil' cutie can drive you crazy in less than an hour but melt your heart in less than a second...again...it reminds me of someone else...weird.
Sam...have you even done anything unpleasant this summer...florida, california, now australia? Seriously there is this thing called...Work...and don't say being a mom is work for you...you enjoy that WAAAAAY too much too say you're working.
We love watching your little Mermaid swimming around the pool, it's adorable!!! And, we are so grateful for her confidence in the water, which showed our little girls that it's possible!!! Thanks, Kami.....you are the best swim teacher ever!!!!!
Becoming the 'Jet setter' in the family, I see Australia next on the list ... tell us more .... When are you coming to South Africa?????? You need to introduce Eric to your roots ..... but you need to do that in our summer.
