Our Kami Cakes is no longer 2 years old. Last Monday she turned 3, and as every mother does, I've been reflecting on this last year. It has probably been my favorite so far, crazy since I've heard so much about the terrible twos. I've loved how she has started asking us questions, how her little mind is working. I loved having a little friend around me all the time; getting our nails done only for her to pick them off her fingers, going out to lunch with her, taking her to the movies, and making dinners together. When she turned 2 we started becoming friends, instead of me just saying no, no and no. She makes Eric and I laugh all the time. So looking back on this age I will not remember the terrible twos, instead I'll always think of them as terrific. Maybe it's not the age, just maybe it's our little girl who's so terrific.

She is so cute and clever, the kids just grow far to fast.
Ahh Sam, Amber is turning two in January and I dont know where the time has gone. She is already talking so much and I just love communicating with her and hearing what she thinks. Dont you wish you could just box them up and keep them this cute forever!
I am sure Kami enjoys being an older sister, but it must also be tough having to share the attention.
Enjoy your kids/husband and the precious time you have with them. In a few years time they'll be teenagers thinking 'mom...what ARE you wearing????'
It's true...Kami is the sweetest little thing! She just steals your heart away! I can't wait to have a little friend of my own...in 4 years :)
