My beautiful mother turned 53 yesterday. We went out to celebrate at Cheesecake Factory.
It's times like this when you notice the other half of the family missing.
My mom has always been the pushover between her and my dad. He was always the strict one and my mom was the one we'd go to so that we could get our way. I remember so many times when I'd ask my dad something and he'd say no and then I'd go beg my mom and she'd always make it so I got what I wanted and could go where I wanted. Having such a strict father really helped when having her as a mom. It still hasn't stopped she will do anything for her children. She is such a selfless and giving person. I can drop Kami off with my mom anytime and for however long and she loves it, she does so much for us. Kamryn adores her and so do I.
